| Happy November everyone! It is that "pumpkin spice everything" time of year again, and Thanksgiving is knocking at the door. As always, there is plenty going on in our fine city to keep you busy during November. Remember, patronizing local businesses is what keeps our community strong. Call Rudy or Nate at Cionko's to have them stuff and bake your turkey for your family this year - talk to Jon at Jerry's Cafeteria for scrumptuous side dishes and pies for your Thanksgiving table. Grab your friends and play some trivia for a good cause! And don't forget "Santa's Holiday Avenue Parade" is this month. There will be a "chili cook-off" afterwards in the Granite City Township building, along with many other fun things to do. Also, the GC Ice Rink is open!
