Granite City Township seniors enjoyed a full day of exploration and fellowship during their recent trip to the St. Louis Science Center and the Old Spaghetti Factory. The outing marked the first of the Township\u2019s early spring excursions, offering residents a chance to learn, socialize, and enjoy a relaxing meal together.

The day began at the St. Louis Science Center, where seniors wandered through interactive exhibits and hands\u2011on displays covering everything from space exploration to prehistoric life. Many took their time moving through the galleries, sharing memories sparked by the exhibits and enjoying the chance to experience something new.

After the morning at the Science Center, the group traveled downtown for lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory. The restaurant\u2019s historic charm and warm atmosphere made it an inviting stop. Seniors settled in for a hearty meal that included pasta, warm bread, and the restaurant\u2019s well\u2011known spumoni ice cream. The lunch provided a comfortable setting for conversation and connection before the group returned home.
