After discussion, the measure failed in a 15\u20134 party\u2011line vote.<br><br>The resolution was introduced following a community gathering on the courthouse steps earlier this month, where residents came together to remember Good.<br><br>Supporters of the proposal said the symbolic day would acknowledge the loss and encourage residents to stand together.
