One officer was struck and transported to a St. Louis hospital, where they remain in stable condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"fonts-plugin-block \" style=\"font-family: Lato;font-weight: normal\">Following the shooting, law enforcement agencies including the Illinois State Police and Madison County Sheriff\u2019s Office joined Granite City police in an intensive search for Marshall. After several hours, officers located and apprehended him around 3 a.m. on December 6.<br><br>Marshall is expected to face multiple charges, including attempted murder of a police officer.
