Worthen Park Splash Pad Ribbon Cutting

Worthen Park had something to celebrate today as the community gathered for the official ribbon cutting of the brand‑new splash pad. Families, kids, and local residents came out to enjoy the sunshine and take part in the opening ceremony, marking a fun new addition to the park.

The splash pad will be open from 12–5 p.m. on weekends, giving families a place to cool off and play. Beginning Memorial Day weekend, it will switch to daily hours, just in time for summer.

Thanks to everyone who came out to help welcome this new feature, it’s already clear it’s going to be a favorite spot for local kids all season long.
