GraniteCityGossip.com, July 1, 2025

From July 22 to July 27, the Madison County Fairgrounds will once again come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of our hot Illinois summer as the Madison County Fair returns for its 153rd year. Located at 2025 Park Hill Drive, this beloved event continues its legacy of celebrating agriculture, community gatherings, and good old-fashioned fun.
Chartered in 1872, the Madison County Fair Association has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated summer traditions. Thanks to the dedication of countless volunteers, the fair has evolved into an exciting showcase of livestock exhibitions, 4-H achievements, live entertainment, and family-friendly attractions that draw over 200,000 visitors annually
Each day of the fair is dedicated to honoring and engaging different segments of the community, with themed programming and special discounts:

And don’t forget the staples of any great county fair – the Midway rides! Carnival ride armbands will be available daily, with special BOGO deals on Sunday for guests who bring canned food donations.
From funnel cakes and BBQ to handmade crafts and antique vendors, the fairgrounds will be hopping with local flavor. Musical acts like Beaucoup Bottom Road and Benders & Backroads will keep the evenings lively, while themed days like Senior Citizen Day, Youth Day, and Military Appreciation Day offer tailored programming and discounts.
Whether you’re chasing blue ribbons, cheering at the arena, or soaking in the sweet and sweaty summer good times, the Madison County Fair is the place to be this July.
