The day began at the St. Louis Science Center, where seniors wandered through interactive exhibits and hands‑on displays covering everything from space exploration to prehistoric life. Many took their time moving through the galleries, sharing memories sparked by the exhibits and enjoying the chance to experience something new.

After the morning at the Science Center, the group traveled downtown for lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory. The restaurant’s historic charm and warm atmosphere made it an inviting stop. Seniors settled in for a hearty meal that included pasta, warm bread, and the restaurant’s well‑known spumoni ice cream. The lunch provided a comfortable setting for conversation and connection before the group returned home.

Comments from residents reflected appreciation for the Township’s efforts to provide meaningful outings for local seniors. Many expressed gratitude for the opportunity to stay active and engaged in the community through trips like this one.
