Granite City Senior Earns Honors in 2026 Teen Photojournalist Prize

Granite City High School senior Brayden Cook has been recognized by St. Louis Public Radio with three Honorable Mention awards in the 2026 Teen Photojournalist Prize, a regional competition celebrating emerging visual storytellers from across the metro area.

Cook, a student at Granite City High School has already built an impressive professional portfolio. He is the owner of BC Photography, a growing aerial and ground photography business known for high‑quality drone imaging, creative commercial work, and polished professional photography services.

His recognition from St. Louis Public Radio highlights both his technical skill and his ability to capture compelling moments, a talent he has been developing through school, community projects, and his expanding client base.

As Cook prepares for graduation, his achievements reflect the dedication and entrepreneurial drive that have made him one of Granite City’s standout young creatives.
