| Dear 1st Ward Resident. On Tuesday April 5th, two Aldermen will be elected to represent you on the City Council. This municipal election year is especially important because you will be voting for the first time in the newly designed Ward 1. It has been my pleasure to serve as an Alderman since 2005. During my time on the council I have served as Chairman of The Downtown Redevelopment Committee and as a committee member of Planning and Zoning. Great things have happened not only to our ward but the city as a whole in the past 6 years. I would like to have the opportunity to continue to be part of the progressive changes that are to come. I believe my proven commitment to our community is what is needed for us to continue to grow and prosper as a city. It would be my honor to be your voice on the council floor.
