Happy September Granite City! The unofficial end of summer is right around the corner as Labor Day approaches this weekend. The new school year is in full swing and autumn is on its way, which means WARRIOR'S FOOTBALL! The Blue Collar Blues & BBQ Fest was a big success, with a phenomenal turnout and fantastic BBQ and music. We can't wait until next year's fest! Check out the winners & photos below. There are two more Melting Pot Market events left for the season, so remember to stop by Civic Park, downtown, on the second Saturday of this month and in October. And while you are there, drop in on David and Ginger at Metalhedz, then head down to the Garden Gate Tea Room for some lunch! And as always, check out all that is going on this month, including Trivia, Critterfest, concerts and much more. It's September in Granite City...the best hometown in the world! |

Early morning rain showers and the threat of thunderstorms all day did not put a damper on the Blue Collar Blues & BBQ Fest. Sunshine may have been in short supply, but BBQ and visitors were not! Great job, see you next year! |
